Caleb is currently the Program Manger of Science for the Oakland Unified School District. Prior to this position, Caleb was the Department Chair of the Science Department at Frick Middle School in Oakland California.

Caleb has served as Chair/Commissioner to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and he was Director of the California Space Education and Workforce Institute. Among his many awards, Caleb has received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and he was a nominee for the Science Teaching and the California League of Middle School Educator of the Year.

He has been a member of Cal TAC since 2010
