Kevin McAllister is Director of Development at CCST. A Bay Area native with over 25 years of experience in organizational leadership and community service, brings his passion for driving positive change to CCST. With a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies from CSU Sacramento and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from National University, Kevin’s interdisciplinary background uniquely positions him to bridge the gap between scientific advancement and public policy.
Before joining the California Council on Science and Technology, Kevin served as the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels Sacramento County, where he played a pivotal role in expanding services for vulnerable populations. His leadership was instrumental in developing innovative programs that addressed food insecurity among seniors and implemented technology-driven solutions to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Kevin’s commitment to the mission extended beyond Sacramento, as he also served as the President of Meals on Wheels California. In this role, he championed the organization’s philosophy of helping seniors “eat well and age well,” ensuring that California had the infrastructure to meet the growing needs of its aging population.
Excited to leverage his experience in community service and organizational development, Kevin is eager to foster groundbreaking advancements in science and technology policy at the California Council on Science and Technology. He aims to ensure that California remains at the forefront of innovation while creating more equitable and sustainable solutions for all its residents, particularly in areas where technology can address critical social needs.
