August 31, 2017 | ,

Are you a scientist or engineer curious to explore a future career in public policy? Are you excited by the idea of combining your training in science with a passion for leadership and policymaking? If you are attending the National GEM Consortium 2017 Annual Conference, we’d love to talk to you!

Visit our table during Saturday’s Graduate Resource, Post-Doc And Employer Fair and meet Annie Morgan, Program Manager for our CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellowship. Learn how our fellowship trains PhD scientists for a year of public service and government leadership training, working directly as legislative staff for the California State Legislature. We’ll answer questions on program requirements and expectations, and talk about all the amazing careers our alumni go on to pursue in government, nonprofit, industry, and academia sectors.

Recruitment for our 2019 Class will begin this December. Whether you are nearing completion of your PhD, or you’re planning ahead for your academic path, come say hello ― and open a new path of professional dreams and possibilities. See you in New York at #GEMconf!
