Two major bodies work together to implement
CCST's mission and programming: the Board, and
the eponymous Council.
As a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation,
CCST is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board provides strategic vision and direction and has
fiduciary responsibility for CCST. Distinguished leaders
from academia and industry - including those representing
our Sustaining Institutions and Federal Laboratory
Affiliates - form the 16 members of the Board.
The current Chair of the CCST Board of Directors is Peter Cowhey.
