Amber received her PhD in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Biology from Davidson College. Amber is currently at the Leibniz-Institut DSMZ-Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH, where she serves as Scientific Deputy to the Director.
