Shannon received a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego, a MS in Pharmacology from Tulane University, and a BS in Psychobiology from UCLA. Shannon is currently Co-Director of the California Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research in Sacramento, California.
