Meron Tesfaye
Placement: Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee
Born and raised in Ethiopia, Meron came to the US to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Leadership Development from University of Maryland, College Park. She continued her studies and obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Her dissertation was focused on understanding materials for hydrogen-powered, low emission electric vehicles. Meron is currently a Senior Policy Analyst with the Bipartisan Policy Center.
