Placement: California Department of Toxic Substances Control
From Hawaii, Grant studied biological molecules associated with infectious diseases. He conducted postdoctoral research in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College.
