About Science Day
Science Day aims to connect state-level science and policy with the incredible research happening in universities, labs, and other research institutions across California. Through exploring the various initiatives being implemented by different state agencies, this effort seeks to develop new or expanded opportunities to support California in achieving its climate goals.
The inaugural Science Day was launched in close partnership with the California Natural Resources Agency and Secretary Wade Crowfoot in 2023.
Connecting California’s Scientists and Policy Experts to Drive Science-Informed Solutions
Science Day 2026
On October 5-6, we hosted our 4th annual Science Day with the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), expanded this year to two days. The symposium-style event featured panels, poster and breakout sessions, a Science Translators showcase, and a mixer. Science Day connects state-level science and policy with the incredible research happening in universities, labs, and other research institutions across California.
