Alexa Cohil-Milanick

Growing up in rural Illinois, Alexa discovered a passion for research during her time as an undergraduate at North Central College. Alexa obtained her PhD from the University of Iowa where she studied how pathways in the brain are impacted by substance use disorder. Making science accessible through communication inspired Alexa’s interest in science policy.
