Placement: Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, Earthquake Early Warning
Born and raised in Oakland, Cara studied the developmental effects of pesticides and pharmaceuticals that mimic reproductive hormones. Her research in developmental endocrinology fuels her passion for using science to promote equity and inform better policy for communities.
