Ugbad Farah
Placement: Assembly Emergency Management Committee
Ugbad has spent a majority of her life in California, completing her PhD studying commercial algae used for biofuel as a renewable energy alternative at UC San Diego. Much of her outreach work is dedicated to democratizing science, from middle and high schools to California jail facilities. In her free time she enjoys attending live music concerts, attending theatre shows, and testing the limits of her green thumb.
