Emily Miaou
Placement: Senator Ben Allen
Emily grew up in Texas and moved to California for school, earning both her BS in chemical engineering and PhD in geochemistry from Caltech. Her doctoral research focused on igneous petrology and isotope metallomics. Throughout grad school, Emily’s passion for outreach and desire to employ science for the public good led her to explore a career in science policy.
