Abstract

Digitally enhanced education – a broad term related to the use of technology in education – was identified as one of three key aspects of California’s innovation ‘ecosystem’ by CCST’s multifaceted “Innovate to Innovation” project, initiated in 2010.

This document is a summary of the California Teacher Advisory Council summit which took place on June 18, 2012, where technology standards in current teacher preparation were reviewed and participants discussed innovative projects incorporating digital media into teacher preparation curricula.
