The California Council on Science and Technology (CCST) is seeking PhD scientists and engineers for a year of public service and government leadership training in the California State Legislature and Executive Branch offices. Applications are Due March 1st.
CCST is recruiting and accepting applications for the 2023 Class of CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellows.
Deadline Extended: Completed applications are due by 11:59 pm PST on March 7th, 2022. Fellows training begins Nov. 1, 2022 in Sacramento.
The CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellows program is open to those holding a PhD or equivalent degree in science, engineering, or social science fields such as economics, sociology, or psychology. As CCST S&T Policy Fellows, scientists and engineers spend one year in Sacramento serving in the California State Legislature or within a California Executive Branch office. Working as staff in the State Assembly, State Senate, or in a state agency they get a front-row seat learning about the craft and process of decision making in the State of California — a dynamic arena that often sets policy trends for the United States and the world.
