Originally from the “Natural State” (Arkansas), Taylor always had a love for the environment and people. She sought an education to address climate change and her journey took her through many interests, from renewable energy to ocean physics. Throughout her Ph.D. program, Taylor explored the intersection of science and society by championing community science, advocating for climate action, and participating in various science-policy conferences. These experiences led to her pursuit of a career in climate policy, where she hopes to serve communities disproportionately impacted by climate change.
