Excited to go from Wisconsin winters to the Golden State, Ben completed his graduate research studying how to protect the brain from fetal herpes virus infection, a leading cause of birth defects. Ben hopes to expand his network and serve as a diligent S&T Policy Fellow in the California State Government. Ben earned a PhD in Cell Biology from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a BA in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
