Erik Davies
Placement: California Air Resources Board, Office of the Chair
Originally from southern California, Erik studied the processes of planet formation using dynamic compression experiments. After graduate school, Erik moved on to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Las Positas Community College as part-time faculty, contributing first hand to the exciting work at the national labs and STEM education. Erik earned a PhD in Earth and Planetary Science from UC Davis and a BS in Physics from the University of Redlands.
