Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Agnes utilizes a psychological lens to study how human beings develop strength in various contexts of difficulty. She earned her PhD and MA in Developmental Psychology from UC Riverside, as well as a BA in Broadcast Journalism and BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Agnes is currently a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow with AAAS & U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
