Manar Zaghlula
Placement: Assembly Environmental Safety & Toxic Materials Committee
Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, Manar investigated novel drug targets for the treatment of genetic brain disorders. He earned his PhD in Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and a BS in Biology and Chemistry from George Washington University. Manar is currently Policy and Engagement Manager at the UC Berkeley Innovative Genomics Institute.
