Alexandra Colón-Rodríguez
Placement: California Governor’s Office of Planning & Research (OPR): Precision Medicine Initiative
From Puerto Rico, Alexandra studied the toxicity of heavy metal, methylmercury, in the nervous system, then behavior and science communication at UC Davis. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience and Environmental Toxicology at Michigan State University and her BS at Universidad Ana G Méndez, Recinto de Carolina. Alex is now a Postdoctoral Program Manager at Genentech.
