From Los Angeles, Alejandra studied the use of microfluidics for high throughput optimization of radiotracers used in positron emission tomography. Alejandra earned her PhD in Physics and Biology in Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MS in Physics from Cal State LA, and a BS in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Cal State LA. Alejandra is now an Electric Generation System Specialist, Energy Research and Development Division, at the California Energy Commission.
