Elyse Pennington
Placement: Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) - Precision Medicine Initiative
Born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area, Elyse studied smog formation from consumer products and Los Angeles air quality. Elyse earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and a BS in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College. Elyse is now a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Tropospheric Composition Group at NASA’s Jet Propolsion Lab.
