Dirk Jamal Spencer
Placement: Assembly Transportation Committee
Born and raised in New York City, Dirk studied how plants build leaves that maximize carbon dioxide absorption and minimize water loss. Dirk earned his PhD in Cellular Molecular Organismal Biology from Stanford University and a BS in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
