Ceasar Gutierrez

Ceasar joins CCST as a Program Associate to provide program support to the design, delivery, and promotion of CCST studies, workshops, briefings, and other science services under the Disaster Resiliency Initiative.

Ceasar graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Environmental Policy and a minor in Energy Policy, where his capstone project was an environmental impact assessment of a multimodal improvement plan for the City of Bellingham’s Department of Transportation. He interned for the Kulshan Carbon Trust assisting with the business and policy planning to manage the City of Bellingham’s Carbon Fund, to fund the efforts towards carbon neutrality through carbon markets and sequestration.

Ceasar brings eight years of experience in the retail and outdoor space working for Recreational Equipment Inc. and as a Rock Climbing Guide/Instructor for AdventureTerra. He is passionate about environmental conservation, recreation, and advocating for environmental justice.
