Barbara J. Shannon
Shannon is a science and mathematics teacher, as well as Co-Director of the Synergy Kinetic Academy in Los Angeles. She holds a B.A. in Biology, an M.S. in Cell Biology and an Ed.D. in Learning and Instruction. In over twenty years of teaching experience she has earned numerous awards including the Tandy Technology Scholars Outstanding Teacher Award, a DuPont Challenge Certificate of Merit, an ExploraVision Certificate of Merit, and inclusion in the University of San Diego’s Outstanding Teacher Recognition Program.
Shannon served on CalTAC from 2005-2009, and served as Vice Chair from 2009-2010.
