Juliana Jones
Jones is an Algebra teacher at Longfellow Middle School in the Berkeley Unified School District. She holds a BS in General Mathematics and a Masters in Education from UCLA. She was named Mathematics Teacher of the year in 2005 by the Alameda Contra Costa Counties. In 2006 she also served on the National Science Foundation Review Panel, Academies for Young Scientists. Jones is a National Board Certified Teacher (Early Adolescent Mathematics).
She represented Cal TAC on the Education Task Force which contributed to Shaping the Future: California’s Response to “Rising Above the Gathering Storm”. She was the CalTAC representative on the National Teacher Advisory Council.
She served on Cal TAC from 2005-2010.
